Our 5th grandchild came earlier than expected.
Due in September she made her appearance on July 19th.
A beautiful baby girl, given the name of Madison Claire.
She spent 12 days in NICU and is now at home and doing fine.
Coming Home
The day finally arrived when they could take Madison home.
Big brother is all smiles!
Mommy and big brother enjoy an afternoon with family and
friends at a baby shower honoring the new baby.
Here is the cake I made for the shower.
Wilton to the rescue again!
As you can tell she is doing great!
Isn't she sweet!

Raspberry Punch
Ingredients:
1 pkg Raspberry Kool-aid
2 quarts water
1 small pkg Cherry Jell-O
3/4 cup sugar
1 2 liter bottle of 7-up
1/2 gallon Raspberry sherbet
46 oz. can Red store bought red punch
Mix the Kool-Aid, jello, sugar, and water according to the package directions.
Fill ice tray with mixture and freeze.
(this will be used later to keep punch cool and will not water it down as ice cubes melt)
In a large punch bowl, mix the remaining prepared Kool-Aid mixture, 7-Up and red punch.
Add scoops of raspberry sherbert and prepared ice cubes
A delightfully refreshing punch!
